More About Me

Terri Thornton grew up in Greene County and has many vested interests in this community. A graduate of Greene County High School, she attended both West GA College and the University of GA where she majored in Fashion merchandise under the Home Economics dept.  Terri started her career in retail where she worked in management for Macy’s Department Store for over 6 years when she decided to give Real Estate a try. 

Now she is a 29-year experienced “Hometown Realtor” and has achieved much success and won many awards over the years. She is the recipient of multiple Coldwell Banker international awards, a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club, Board of Realtors Service Award, Lake Country Phoenix Award, a graduate of Leadership Greene. Terri has served on the Greene County Chamber of Commerce Board, was Vice-President of the Piedmont (Lake Country) Board of Realtors, Greene County Board of Equalization and various other committees in & around Greene County. Currently Terri serves on the Downtown Development Authority and is the Chair-person of Greensboro Zoning Board. She enjoys cooking, reading, crafts and spending time with family and friends.
